On the second last Tuesday, Sam didn’t stop to think. It was a simple action, the bending over and catching of lips, and Dean’s reaction was just what he’d expected.
He nursed a bruised jaw for hours until he woke up to Asia again, not knowing what had happened.
Like his whole life was a rewind button, a reset. This Tuesday, he curls into the pillows before Dean tugs him out, this happy wide smile on his face that could be anything.
Easy Tuesday. Sam counts it as Number 76. He decides to spent Tuesday #76 memorizing everything he wouldn’t be able to later, like getting ice cream for breakfast and Dean’s confused brainfreeze face; leather jacket glint, engine grease smell, mouth tastes like chocolate chip cookie dough and Coke.
Dean dies quickly on Tuesday #76. It’s not so bad; could be a lot worse.
Sam gets used to Asia.
