LMAO, this is so unique and interesting. The dogs kill me, how they fetch tools and get the breaker when the lights go out. Loved it.

It's great to read something that takes risks that feel necessary to the story, rather than being there for their own sake. This was really funny, and hot, and awkward. And the first part is the best beginning to any story I've read!
12th-Dec-2007 07:45 pm (UTC)
Yay! :D

I'm so glad. :)) This story started as a wee experiment-thing, and wow. :D

Thank you so much!

I don't think there is any way I could have loved this more. I am just sitting here with this huge GRIN. Yay! <333

OH WOW. This was amazing. I loved all the crazy space details, and the story told in bits of time, and the way their relationship progressed, and most especially the quirky Good Omens/Hitchhiker's Guide style narration. I never expected to read a J2 story like this, and I am so so happy I found it. Thank you!

I have to admit the chronology is a little confusing- but I did understand the overall story. It was very amusing and straight to the point. I liked the little commentary- but this one was definitely different from what I'm used to as they were presented from your point of view than that of the characters.

So, I love this. I love the space, and the ship, and the sandy and the, well everything. It reads like something you'd find in 'Hitchhikers guide' I love your 'explanations' of space-travel and the style. YAY1! This is a fantastic read! *there is muppet flailing love*

Ok, this was awesome.
1st - love the preface. Mail order bride contract - and the worst one at that!
2nd - love the setting. The tiny ship, the archaeological relic with a ceiling fan... hee!
3rd - love the pacing. Kinda different, kinda jumbled, and really works for this piece.

Love it!
